What is a Parish Plan?

Parish Plans are community led plans that set out a vision for the future of the parish.

Quenington Parish Council first produced a Parish Plan 2011. This plan was reviewed in 2018/19 and a revised version produced for the 5 years, from 2020-2025.

Quenington Parish Council are now undertaking a full revision of the Parish Plan to take the parish forward for the next five years.

Quenington Parish Plan 2025

Quenington Parish Council has published the latest draft version of the Parish Plan 2025.

Residents are asked to review the plan and email their feedback to the parish clerk queningtonpc@gmail.com by the 23rd August 2025 deadline.

Feedback received at that time will be used to inform the final version of the village plan which will be discussed and approved by the parish council at its meeting on 11th September 2025. After this, the final Parish Plan 2025 will be published here on website.

Quenington Parish Plan 2020-2025

The Quenington Parish Plan 2020-2025 has been prepared in order to meet two objectives:

  • To involve local parishioners (if they wish) in the development of our community by bringing about those small improvements that residents feel are necessary to enhance or maintain the quality of life within the parish in which we live.
  • To carry weight with local authorities when formulating policy which may affect us and with funding organisations to which we may apply for grants.

The current Quenington Parish Plan 2020-2025 was produced following a review of the previous Parish Plan 2011-2016 and consultation with residents, which was carried out in August 2018.

The Parish Plan 2020-2025 was reviewed at the July 2022 QPC meeting and the Action plan updated with progress to date.  A copy of the plan with reviewed actions is available from the link below:
